Who we are
PetFit is an independent UK website that helps dog owners find the right size of harness and crate. You can contact us about privacy at hello@example.com.
What we collect
- No accounts or forms. You don't sign up, and we don't ask for your name, email address or any other personal details.
- Your dog's measurements stay on your device. The size finder works entirely in your browser. The breed and measurements you enter are not sent to us. They appear in the page address so you can bookmark or share a result, which means they may be saved in your browser history.
- No tracking cookies. We don't set advertising or tracking cookies.
Website analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. It is cookie-free: it doesn't set cookies or use local storage, doesn't collect personal data, and doesn't track you across other websites. We see only totals, such as page views and the type of device used.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information such as IP addresses to deliver pages securely and protect the site from attacks. We don't use this information to identify you.
Amazon affiliate links
We are a participant in the Amazon EU Associates Programme. Our "Check price on Amazon" buttons are affiliate links: if you click one, Amazon knows the visit came from us and may pay us a commission if you buy something. Once you're on Amazon, Amazon's own privacy notice and cookie policy apply, and Amazon may set cookies. We don't receive your name, address or what you buy beyond the commission reports Amazon provides to us.
Fonts and other services
Our fonts and images are served from our own site, so loading a page doesn't send your details to font or image services.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have rights over your personal data, including the right to ask what we hold about you. Because we don't collect personal details, we're unlikely to hold any, but you can ask us at hello@example.com. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes
If we change how we handle data, for example by adding a new service, we'll update this page and the date below.
